Join Opera Magnifico and experience an immersive evening of Puccini! In the beautiful chapel of the historic St. John The Baptist Community Convent in Mendham, NJ, you will hear arias from favorite Puccini operas accompanied by a chamber orchestra of vibrant musicians. Following a brief intermission and a dose of history about the convent, you will experience Suor Angelica: Puccini’s tragic tale of a woman who bears a child out of wedlock and is sent to a convent to repent for her sins. In the setting of St. John’s historic convent, Puccini’s opera is brought to life in an unprecedented immersion of history and opera.
